⚠️ Important Cautions
Use methylated forms: Some people cannot convert synthetic folic acid or cyanocobalamin to the active forms. Use methylfolate (not folic acid) and methyl-B12 (not cyanocobalamin).
Start low, go slow: Your system is sensitive. Introducing new nutrients can cause a "waking up" reaction. Start with half the suggested dose for the first week. Increase slowly.
Monitor urine color: High-dose B2 (riboflavin) will turn your urine bright yellow-green. This is harmless. If you see this, you are taking enough. You can reduce the dose if it bothers you.
Watch for overstimulation: B vitamins can be mildly stimulating. If you feel jittery or have trouble sleeping, move the B1 and B5 to earlier in the day. Do not take B vitamins at bedtime.
Tryptophan sensitivity: If you experience increased drowsiness during the day, move the dose to the evening. If you experience increased anxiety or agitation, reduce the dose or discontinue.
